KWON
Sojin,
based in Seoul, graduated with a major in fine arts from Ewha Womans University in 2015 and completed her postgraduate studies in 2018. The artist explores drawing and painting, focusing on the repetitive cycle of 'Image-Object-Image.' She delves into the paradox of reality obtained when a painting looks most like a painting and how it transforms back into an object through contemplation.
Her significant solo exhibitions include the inaugural solo exhibition "Thrown Incidents" at Rainbow Cube Gallery in 2018, followed by "Blue Scene" (2019), "Still-Cut" (2023), and being selected for the Eunpyeong Cultural Foundation Emerging Artists Solo Exhibition in 2023, where she presented "Transparent House" in Seoul.
In 2022, KWON Sojin was an active participant as a selected artist for the Gyeonggi Cultural Foundation's 'Art Gyeonggi 2022' and was also chosen as an artist-in-residence for the Guro Cultural Foundation's 'Culture Railroad 959' Art Platform.
Currently, her artworks, including "Surfing" (2020), are part of the collection at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art's Art Bank, and "Couple Walking the Dog" (2019) is housed at the Seoul City collection.

권소진은
서울에서 활동하며 2015년 이화여자대학교 서양화를 전공한 후, 2018년 동대학원을 졸업하였다. 작가는 ‘이미지-사물-이미지’를 반복하며 그림이 가장 그림처럼 보일 때 획득하는 리얼리티와, 이것이 다시 사유를 통해 사물로 전복되는 아이러니에 관하여 드로잉과 회화 작업을 선보이고 있다.
주요 개인전은 2018년 레인보우 큐브 갤러리에서 선보인 ‘처음의 개인전’ <던져진 사건들>(2018)을 시작으로, <Blue Scene>(2019), <Still-cut>(2023), 그리고 2023년에는 은평문화재단 신진작가 개인전에 선정되어 <투명한 집>을 서울에서 선보였다.
2022년에는 경기문화재단 ‘아트경기2022’ 선정작가로 활동하였고, 같은 해에 구로문화재단 ‘문화철도959’ 아트플랫폼 입주작가로 선정되었다.
현재 국립현대미술관 미술은행에 <Surfing>(2020), 서울시에 <개를 산책시키는 부부>(2019)가 소장되어 있다.
